UPDATE March 30st 2020, 10:37 AM UCT+1

Hello guys,
just today we’ve got information that SAP has written in its blog article that they are no longer going to offer ASE License for their Trial systems!

What does it mean for you if you are running our ABAP Academy Fully Pre-Installed SAP System?

It means that we all (including ABAP Academy and our mentors) will need to export all our developments and move them to the different system.

We are going to prepare the newest SAP NW 7.52 version which is going to be supported by SAP for next year till March 31st 2021.

We will postpone our current activities and put to this situation the high priority for us to help you get the local SAP system as fast as possible.

Watch the whole situation directly on our blog article, which we are going to update with the newest information.

The whole article from SAP is here: https://blogs.sap.com/2018/08/30/as-abap-7.5x-ase-license-available/

Dear, Ladislav I purchased the “Fully Preinstalled SAP System” before. and I worked with it. I saw a blog of license expiring news.

So, I tried to upgrade my local SAP System through the link you made.

    But, I couldn’t…. I hope you help me…..

  2. Rahul Mirashi says:

Could you please enable debugging from Eclipse? Currently I am getting error.

    • Hey Rahul. This system is configured for SAP GUI mainly. Other setups can be freely updated individually since you are using that locally.
We are also mainly using this SAP system with SAP GUI in ABAP Academy just because this is what is still heavily used in companies and for people getting ABAP jobs this is must to know this environment. Eclipse is still in many companies not recommended so that’s why we are focusing on this “older style”, but efficient tool.
